Bats Europe Preps for Friday Dark Pool Launch
The non-displayed venue has been available for participant testing since July 20 (DWT, July 20). The technology is virtually the same as that used for the MTF's integrated book. Minor modifications were required, says Mark Hemsley, CEO of Bats Europe. "For example, because of the regulatory situation in Europe, you have to match the dark pool orders at mid-point so we had to make sure that in all scenarios there was a mid-point match."
