NYSE to Up Its Price for Euronext?

PARIS-Industry observers say that the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) could be forced to up its offer for the pan-European exchange operator Euronext to forestall a possible tie-up between Euronext and Deutsche Börse, the German exchange.

Speculation has been rife about the future of NYSE-Euronext since Deutsche Börse, along with the Borsa Italiana, prepared a new offer for Euronext last week.
