LSE, Borsa Italiana Complete Merger
The Italian equity markets will migrate to LSE's TradElect trading platform by September 2008, says Robin Paine, CTO at the LSE. "This short 12-month time frame is only possible due to the increased capacity, scalability and agility of TradElect," he says.
Officials from both bourses decline to comment further on the technology integration between the exchanges.
