The reason for the connection to Interxion is that there is a NYSE Euronext Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network access point and access to NYSE Liffe and the NYSE Arca Europe multilateral trading facility (MTF) within the secure datacenter, says Nigel Kneafsey, CEO of Options IT. "We wanted to provide our services to clients in that facility and to provide market access with reduced latency," he adds.
The vendor has been live with the new offering for the past few weeks
