NYSE Readies New Bond Platform


NEW YORK—The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) last week expanded the reach of its electronic bond platform by selecting Kestrel Technologies and Townsend Analytics as connectivity points to the platform, prompting the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) to issue its cautious support for the project.

NYSE is looking to replace its Automated Bond System (ABS) with the all-electronic, Arca-based NYSE Bonds, pending approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
