Orc-Cameron Propose Global Exchange Connectivity Standard

NEW YORK—Swedish trading software vendor Orc Software and its Australian subsidiary Cameron Systems are presenting proposals to the governing body of the FIX protocol to standardize market data connectivity to exchanges worldwide using FIX, company officials tell sibling publication Inside Market Data.
The vendor will present its proposals to FIX Protocol Ltd.'s (FPL's) market data and exchanges working groups for discussion, in the hope that its recommendations can be included in the forthcoming
