EBS Suffers Network Outage

The electronic FX platform was down from 1:14 p.m. to 3:22 p.m. local time on March 5 due to an ongoing issue caused by a network service provider affecting the system, say Icap officials.

According to an Icap spokesperson, "a complete failover plan" was affected by a subsequent problem that occurred as a result of the network service provider going down, the details of which have not yet been identified.
