Solace Upgrades SolaceMQ Scalability, Security

The new release, which is in beta testing with 10 Solace clients, now supports 11 million non-persistent messages per second with its Java Messaging Service (JMS) broker.

Version 4.4 supported hundreds of thousands of messages per second, according to Shawn McAllister, CTO with Solace Systems.

The performance results are based on test messages that were 100 bytes in size, says McAllister, adding that when the message size was increased to 1,000 bytes-common to JMS broker benchmarking-throughput
