Knight Match ATS Gets Update

Knight Capital used a number of existing technologies to re-tool its alternative trading system (ATS). For example, the firm's developers leveraged the same connectivity technology used to build Knight Link, the electronic access point into Knight's off-exchange liquidity, according to Joseph Wald, managing director at Knight Capital.

In addition, the core matching engine for Knight Match was built based on the technology used for a majority of the order handling functionality in the broker
