Bats Lands in New York
The Kansas City, Mo.-based firm has opened an office at 14 Wall Street, a few doors down from its competitor NYSE Euronext.
Currently, the location is meant to be a sales office with a staff of five. However, more personnel could be added as needed, according to Bats officials.
In step with global expansion, the ECN operator tapped datacenter provider Savvis to host its production systems for Bats Trading (Europe) in Savvis' Docklands datacenter (DWT, April 14).
