NYSE Euronext to Consolidate Datacenters

The eventual goal is to have a "lights-out" facility located in northern New Jersey around 2009, says Steve Rubinow, CIO of NYSE Euronext. A typical project like this takes two years, but this is still in the early phases of planning, he adds.

NYSE Euronext is in discussions with a number of architectural firms and a contract may be awarded in the near future. "It's still in the process now," but by press time it could be a done deal, says Rubinow.
