Icap Debuts Low-Latency Connectivity
The new service, which should be rolled out by the end of the year by Icap and datacenter provider Equinix, provides a 1Gbps fiber connection to Icap's fixed-income matching engine BrokerTec and a 100Mbps metro Ethernet connection to its EBS FX trading platform, says Jason Conn, a product manager with Icap. "It cross-connects from a customer's cabinet to an Icap cabinet at customer discretion," he says.
Clients wishing to use the service will need to house their equipment within either of Equinix
