Exchange Giants Prepare for New Markets
As part of this drive, exchange operator and technology vendor NYSE Euronext is currently in talks with third-party technology providers to add to its Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network, according to exchange officials (DWT, May 18).
The plans are in line with NYSE Euronext's move to reposition itself in the marketplace. The exchange is looking to shift its image from being a trading marketplace facilitator to being a technology and infrastructure provider via its NYSE
