Intel Opens Low-Latency Lab

The lab, located approximately 40 miles (64 km) west of London in Winnersh, will provide firms with an environment to try out a wide range of technologies in a controlled environment before deploying them internally, helping minimize risk and maximize potential returns from technology investments, add officials.

The new lab has been set up in collaboration with a range of companies that provide technology to the financial services industry, including BEA Systems, BT Radianz, Cisco Systems
