The new platform, best viewed using versions 6.x or 7.x of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, is built on version 1.4 of the Java Runtime Environment and supports MS SQL, say a BSE spokesperson.
The exchange declined to comment on the hosting environment required for the application as well as whether the application was developed internally or with the aid of third-party developers.
