The platform's new functionalities were built to address the current trends in derivatives trading, especially algorithmic trading, says Thomas Lenz, member of the executive board of Eurex. "Answering the trend towards algorithmic traders and machine, or black box, trading, there is a demand for several pre-requisites for their trading, such as extremely low latency, high reliability, low-maintenance technological services and high-quality data," he adds.
The new release, however, is not
