BOX to Add Block Trading in 2010
The new capability, which will facilitate trading in block sizes of 500 contracts or higher, is currently in development and should be completed by December, according to John Goode, CIO of BOX. The exchange aims to launch the trading platform in January, he adds.
BOX will conduct internal testing from mid-November through December. Participants will be able to hook up to the platform and test it once it is released in early 2010. The exchange will work to put together a certification testing
