CBOE Moves C2 Launch to 2010

The exchange is still waiting for approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), says an exchange spokesperson. "A number of decisions still need to be made for C2," she adds, citing the trading model or models that the platform might use.

Considering that the CBOE, along with the International Securities Exchange (ISE) and Nasdaq OMX PHLX, currently use a pro-rata model, which entices market makers to offer up their best bid and offer in order to get access to executions
