Router Utilization Downs Tocom Trading

Tocom decided to halt trading activity for all of its products at 11:35 a.m. local time last Tuesday. The exchange began accepting orders at 2:30 p.m. and resumed the session at 3 p.m. The day session was then closed at 3:30 p.m. The night session started at 5 p.m. without incident.

Problems began at 10:30 a.m. local time as the exchange began receiving notifications from some members and IT vendors that their systems were experiencing unstable connectivity to Tocom's system, exchange officials
