MUFG BUYS INTO MORGAN STANLEY

Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) has acquired a 21 percent stake in Morgan Stanley for $9 billion in a strategic alliance covering a broad range of areas including corporate and investment banking, retail banking and asset management.
