LSE Trading Halt Reveals Dependencies

The LSE suspended market wide connectivity at 9:15 a.m. local time to prevent disorderly trading, says an LSE spokesperson. Connectivity was temporarily re-established at 11:45 a.m. but with insufficient stability to guarantee an orderly market, the spokesperson adds. Sufficient customer connectivity was re-established between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. for continuous trading to resume at 4 p.m. "However, we brought forward the closing call period to 4:21 p.m. due to further connectivity
