OMX, Verizon Enter Outsourcing Talks

OMX has evaluated offers from a number of possible partners and has now agreed to enter into negotiations with Verizon, a financially strong partner with global presence, says an OMX spokesperson.

The transaction is expected to close in September provided that all necessary approvals are in place, says the spokesperson. Under the expected deal, OMX officials plan to turn over the company's external network operations and datacenter management as well as approximately 25 employees to its selected
