Knight to Launch Carbon Trading Desk

Last week, Knight hired Dan Braun as managing director and head of carbon trading to lead its nascent business unit. Braun plans to focus first on building Knight's business in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions reduction rights in Europe, where the market for their securitization is more mature.
