Singapore Exchange to Go Fully Electronic
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
SINGAPORE CITY—The Singapore Exchange (SGX) is slated to go fully electronic on October 2 of this year with the deployment of its trading platform SGX Quotation and Execution System for Trading, dubbed SGXQuest, in the Euroyen futures and options space, exchange officials say.
Since November 2004, the SGX has been moving to transform itself from an open outcry marketplace to an electronic trading exchange. The decision to go electronic was made in response to changing market demands, say SGX
