New Zealand Exchange Turns to Trayport

EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES

LONDON—The New Zealand Exchange (NZX) is slated to use London-based trading technology provider Trayport to support exchange operations and for the exchange's electronic communications network (ECN), say Trayport officials.

Specifically, the exchange will use the Trayport GlobalVision Exchange Trading System to gird its operations and those of its ECN, established in Australia by the NZX and five securities firms.

Early last month, the NZX announced it had signed a deal with Citigroup, CommSec
