QuoteSpeed, acquired with Morningstar's purchase of Tenfore Systems (IMD, Dec. 22, 2008), was previously a thick- client application installed on users' desktops that had until then primarily been sold in Europe and Asia by Tenfore, whereas version 2.0 is entirely Html-based, officials say.
