IMNET Offers Cut-Rate Pricing On Its First-Product; Standalone Workstation Is $139/Month


International Marketnet has quietly released its long-awaited first product, an aggressively priced standalone workstation called the "System 100." The unit, based on the IBM PC-XT, was launched without fanfare June 6th -- the anniversary of D-Day. "We may lose a few soldiers on the beach but I certainly think we're going to take the enemy," says an optimistic Bill Young, Imnet marketing director.

Perhaps the most notable feature of the System 100 -- aside from the fact of its very existence --
