Reuters America CEO Lynch Departs

In another departure of the Reuters old guard, Phil Lynch, chief executive for the Americas, is to leave the company at the end of the first quarter next year, Inside Market Data has learned.
Lynch, a 17-year Reuters veteran, will be replaced by Mike Steinharter, who is executive vice president of sales and training. Steinharter joined the vendor two-and-a-half years ago following a 22-year career with computing giant IBM (IMD, June 2, 2003). Though he will be essentially taking over Lynch's
