Moneyline Telerate Updates WebStation

New features include analytical tools such as Analysis Viewer and Analysis Wizard, which allow users to select from a list of more than 20 analytical commands rather than build the commands themselves. New menus allow users to launch pop-up windows with quote detail, charts and analysis for a symbol, which will also automatically populate displays in their worksheets.

In addition, WebStation 2.1 now includes streaming charts; new studies, including simple spreads, butterfly spread and ratios; yield curves that allow users to view historical curves and compare curves as well as additional curves for European and Asian markets.

The new version also provides English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean interfaces. Bill Walsh, senior vice president of marketing, says Moneyline added those languages first because demand for local languages was greatest in Asia. The company plans to add support for other languages in future releases, he says.

Existing WebStation clients are automatically upgraded when they log-on to the system. The new version will retain a user’s current settings and worksheets. Walsh says more than 70 firms are currently using the product.

Webstation 2.1 underwent beta testing with customers and internally for about two and a half months before rollout, says Karyn Dobin, director of product marketing. The company expects to roll out an update of WebStation every quarter. Version 2.0 was released in North America in April and globally in June.
