Bridge Acquisition Of Telesphere Is Imminent

Bridge is expected to announce imminently the acquisition of market data vendor Telesphere. The acquisition will give Bridge the vendor's Global Ticker broadcast data feed--an additional arrow in its data feed quiver--and an established feed business.
The old Bridge's Selective Ticker feed never established much of a customer base; the new Bridge only recently rolled out its Bridgefeed interactive data feed (IMD, December 16, 1996). Telesphere, on the other hand, has a solid client base in the US
