The Merc Gives CTAs a Perk And Waives Globex License Fee

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has waived the usual $1,500 license fee it charges commodity trading advisors (CTAs) for Globex, the Reuters-operated after hours electronic trading system. However, the CME will still charge a one-time instal lation fee of $925 and monthly fees of $800 per terminal that accrue after five months. Meanwhile, the CME has begun routing orders from its pits to the Internet, and will work with Rosenthal
