Reuters Buys Chunk Of Effix; Expands Triarch/Effic Line

Reuters has beefed up its relationship with Effix Systemes S.A., taking a 35 percent ownership stake in the French software house. At the same time, Reuters extended the terms of an existing agreement to market Effix's workstation software as the front end to its Triarch 2000 local data distribution system.
