ADP Forges FD, Teknekron Ties In Bid For First Boston Deal

Automatic Data Processing Inc. has secured deals with Teknekron Software Systems Inc. and FD Consulting Inc. that will allow ADP to bid for First Boston Corp.'s retail brokerage and trading systems contracts as a single entity. The move brings ADP in line with other vendors bidding for the contracts.
But sources close to the evaluations say First Boston's recent hiring of Roml Lefkowitz from Morgan Stanley & Co. to head the trading system project may lead to changes in the firm's hazy systems
