Fidelity Embraces FIX for Fixed Income

BOSTON--Already a FIX pioneer for equities trading, Fidelity Investments is extending its expertise with the connectivity protocol to fixed income trading in a new outreach to sell-side counterparties, confirms Jon Jamen, vice president for fixed-income trading systems.
Fidelity Investments has implemented the FIX protocol for most of its domestic, fixed income trade life cycle, including the order, execution, allocation and confirmation steps with two counterparties, Jamen says. The
