Australia's adoption of digital dealing-room technology was early and enthusiastic. Fewer than a dozen of the country's approximately 250 dealing rooms--including buy-side rooms--still depend entirely on a video switch to deliver information to the desktop, although there are some hopelessly low-tech rooms still serviced solely by standalone information services.
