Persistence Recasts Live Object Cache As Its New Powertier Application Server

SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA--Persistence Software was able to relaunch its Live Object Cache middleware as the Powertier 2.0 application server, in part by incorporating the data distribution technology that it got from Morgan Stanley in an agreement signed with the investment bank about a year ago.
While still offering the massive memory caching capabilities of Live Object Cache, Powertier includes real-time notification agents, an object control kit and support for a third-party application modelling
