SUN RELEASES NEW GRID ENGINE
Sun Microsystems has released the Sun Grid Engine Enterprise Edition 5.3, a more scalable version of its Grid Engine, a free Web-based download for distributed resource management used in more than 5,000 server-cluster environments. SGEEE offers greater control of enterprise grids through policy management functions that allow multiple groups to share computing resources according to corporate goals.
