Look for Fleet Bank Boston to expand its use of Iona Technologies Orbixweb and Orbix products to support intra-net based services for its derivatives trading operations. Applications will be written in C++ and Java and will run on Microsoft Windows NT front ends with Java servlets. The goal is to support straight through processing as the applications connect to the bank’s Orbix infrastructure. Obrixweb provides a Corba-compliant environment for Java development and deployment.
