Reuters Pushes IM Compliance

NEW YORK—Reuters is taking on compliance issues as they relate to instant messaging (IM) with the formal launch of a program that has the support of FaceTime, IMlogic and Akonix.
The new Compliance Partner Program formalizes and expands Reuters’ current relationships with these three vis-á-vis Reuters Messaging, the IM offering from Reuters, say Reuters officials. The new program will give customers further tools for meeting compliance requirements such as those mandated by Basel II and Sarbanes
