JERSEY CITY, N.J.--Icap Electronic Broking will supply Spear Leeds & Kellogg fixed-income customers with an Electronic Trading Community (ETC) interface for trading on the SLKbond platform, in exchange for Spear Leeds bond inventory. The system is being tested now and the initial rollout will be to a handful of customers in February, says SLK vice president Dierdre Schaffer.
Icap is a large player in the primary interdealer bond market, where trades can run anywhere from $10 million to $50
