HSBC Furthers TIB Standardization With Two New Trading Floors In Tokyo

TOKYO--With the opening of two new Asia/Pacific trading floors serving a combined 150 positions, Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Group moves closer to completing its digital data distribution platform standardization on Tibco's The Information Bus (TIB).

The global standardization effort has been in the works since the TIB was selected as the global platform four years ago (Dealing With Technology, July 1, 1994). HSBC's intention then was to install the TIB on a case-by-case
