CBOT Touts Platform as Eurex Wins Battle

NEW YORK--Rival exchanges Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and Eurex scored victories and weathered defeats last week--CBOT trumpeted its e-trading platform while Eurex’s platform suffered a connection failure but won a crucial victory for clearing in the U.S.

CBOT says it is on track for the November 23 launch of e-cbot, the electronic trading platform based on Euronext.liffe’s Liffe Connect, covering index, swap, Fed Funds and Municipal Note futures. Agricultural, U.S. Treasury and agency futures
