Daiwa Securities America Uses Active Software For Equities, Correspondence & Maybe Risk
OUTSIDE THE REGION
The New York IT staff of Daiwa Securities America (DSA) plans to use Active Software middleware to connect the Japanese equities desk in New York to the IBM-compatible mainframes of Daiwa Securities' headquarters in Tokyo. The staff will also connect the New York office's trading system to its correspondent broker/dealers. These initiatives will roll out next month.
