Data Logic Shuts Down New York Sales Office

Less than 18 months after setting out to challenge Rich Inc. and Micrognosis Inc. in the North American trading room systems market, Data Logic Ltd. is closing its New York sales office.

The U.K.-based company has had sales representatives in the U.S. since 1985, but it did not launch a major sales effort in North America until fall 1987.

Shortly after Data Logic's financial systems division began an international expansion program funded by parent company Raytheon Co., the stock market crashed
