MTS to Move Off Tandem Hardware

LONDON--MTS, the pan-European operator of fixed-income securities markets, will migrate from legacy Tandem servers to a new technology platform over the next two years, officials tell DWT.

The move parallels plans by the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to replace its legacy exchange systems recently revealed to this publication (DWT, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7).

The market operator is embarking on a complete overhaul of its systems and is due to migrate markets to the new technology, dubbed TradeImpact
