Reuters had all the answers last week as security analysts quizzed North American spokesman Mike Reilly at Paine Webber's annual Media Week event.
Predictably, the set piece aimed to quash any worries over potential fallout from the crash. As per usual, impressive numbers were cited: worldwide screen totals: 135K, growth of dealing system keyboards: up 50% in ten months to over 8K, total contributors: over 3K, Equities 2000 terminals sold: 6K, Equities 2000 keystations in North America: 700.
