SAN FRANCISCO--San Francisco-based investment bank Thomas W. Weisel Partners is using voice over IP (VoIP) telephony internally to provide its traveling sell-side traders with consistency as they move among its offices, executives at the firm tell TTW.
Beyond its headquarters in San Francisco, the firm has offices in New York, Boston, and Menlo Park, Calif. For the last three months, traders have been able to move among these offices and have access to their turrets as if they were working from
