FPL Says FIX 4.4 Ready by Q1 ‘03

NEW YORK--The Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol version 4.4 will be production-ready in the first quarter of 2003, says Dan Doscas, co-chair of FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL)’s global fixed income committee and senior vice president of fixed income client connectivity at Lehman Brothers.
The updated version will include tags for euro-denominated debt, corporate bonds, agency debt, mortgage-backed securities, repos, and commercial paper.
