John Bates, one of the co-founders of Apama, headquartered in Cambridge, U.K., and Mark Palmer, vice president at ObjectStore, an operating unit of Progress Software Corp., recently spoke to DWT European reporter Jean-Paul Carbonnier about the $25 million acquisition of Apama by Progress this past April. Progress has begun the process of integrating the ObjectStore and Apama product sets (DWT, April 11).
