BTM Moving Up to Cognotec’s AutoDeal+

TOKYO--Senior officials at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi (BTM) say they expect to go live with an update of the online foreign exchange (FX) transaction platform from Irish FX technology vendor Cognotec by the end of November.

BTM is moving up to Cognotec’s AutoDeal+ from the vendor’s older AutoDeal Lite system, which originally went live at the bank in May 2001, say BTM officials. Bank officials began implementing AutoDeal+ in July and are currently testing the system, says Kenichi Nakao, BTM
